HalloweeN 3D Postponed
Michael Myers will not be returning to the big screen this Halloween season. The unfortunate news today is that Dimension films has postponed HalloweeN 3D and the release is now “To Be Determined.”
Rumor has it that HalloweeN is very high on the Dimension priority list – hopefully this means that they are going to put a lot of effort into the project, rather than releasing a sub-par film. Maybe this will turn out to be good news in the long run?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. Setting the film for such an early date is only restricting them, and so by trying to meet the deadline they will just be rushing themselves. This, I hope, Gives them more time, and hopefully will bring out a spectacular film.
I think this will be a good thing….even Akkad said that a big part of the issue with Part 5 was them rushing it out too soon after part 4. If it came out in Oct 2013 that would be pretty decent.
Thank God. LOL
As Shape Of Fear has stated, perhaps postponing the production of the film will work to its benefit. Aside from H5, the Halloween franchise isn’t known for cranking out Michael Myers films like an assembly line.
It was very strange that in this day and age the only info available regarding H3D was the release date. I spoke with Darren Bousman (director of some of the Saw movies) recently. He has a contract with the Weisteins, but he has no interest in directing a HalloweeN film.
Who knows. At least we have a bunch of other HalloweeN films to revisit. Not to mention this hobby and mask-collecting.
There is no guarantee that taking longer to make a movie will deliver a better quality product. All it means is that they have no idea what to do at this point.
They’ve had 3 years to come up with a good script and still they have nothing.
would love more info on the move as to what it will be about
