John Carpenter Debut Album: Lost Themes
John Carpenter, the director/writer of Halloween (1978), is set to release his solo musical debut in February 2015. The album is titled John Carpenter’s Lost Themes, and it will be not be a soundtrack to any film. John Carpenter is, of course, the man responsible for the haunting music of Michael Myers, and he also had direct involvement in the making of the music to the movies Halloween II (1981) and Halloween III Season of the Witch.
John Carpenter’s Lost Themes will be released through Sacred Bones Records, and, according to Pitchfork, the tracklisting for the new album is as follows:
